| I've driven plenty of other cars that are way more of a handful, usually smaller modified. (modded s2k, miatas, fiero) With the Z it's easy to make a lot more power, and a lot of people don't think of the other things that are required to keep that power under control. 500WHP can be done on an engine that's never left the car, but if you're doing that on OEM worn out bushings you're going to have a bad time. Additionally, the OEM limited slip isn't much good over stock power, and if you're not paying attention it can feel a little unsettling. I'm not sure what bimmers you're talking about, but a lot of them have really good stability control that the Z doesn't have, and a moderate power/weight ratio. The E46 M3 is factory a little higher power/weight than the TT, but the stability control does wonders. I just watched a 16 year old take one through the local SCCA advanced drivers training course and it made him look like he had 10+ years experience. Technology is a hell of a drug. TL/DR: Lots of power-traction control-proper diff-well rounded build+ego=tree
